If you're looking at frame material options and considering titanium, have you considered a nice stainless steel? I've never ridden titanium, but I've heard it's hard to get right and the cheaper stuff often cracks and fails. If I had to choose between cheap titanium and nice aluminum or steel I'd go with nice aluminum or steel.
