Im not talking about if there is a stop sign, I mean people turning off into businesses etc. Everyone seems to come to a dead stop in the road and the slooowly turn.

If there isn't someone trying to cross, crossing, or otherwise an obstruction and the road, you are confusing everyone else on the road, especially those of us who also have a clear view.
Coasting is part of driving, it has to do with judging following distance, you throwing a wrench into that screws the whole equation.
Again, if you don't see why this is an issue, you ARE causing accidents to happen. Someone else was probably just able to make up for your shit driving.
