Huffy, Kent have the cheap ones.
Schwinn and State Bicycle Co have nice ones.

I prefer the aluminum ones because they last longer in the salty air and they are about 10 lbs lighter.

Yea if you're looking at chink steel you might as well just look for an old 1960s cruiser. Like a Sears Spaceliner or Murray Jet Fire. There's forums full of people that collect and mod those things so info is plentiful
