>>1780454Not dutch but here's a crush course of eu's most common regulations
- drive and ride on the right side of the carriageway
- at an intersection give way to all vehicles or animals which your path are about to intersect if they are on the right side of your path. except if they have a give way or a stop sign
- if vertical signs and horizontal signs disagree, the vertical signs have priority
- bicycle paths are mandatory if they have the circular blue sign
- turn on red is VERBOTEN except if otherwise indicated
- do not overtake on solid lines, unless you can do so without crossing them
- sometimes traffic lights are broken or are OUT OF SERVICE (indicated by a flashing amber lights on all directions). In this case RULE #2 applies. Under traffic lights you can find priority signs: stop, give way or right of way; those apply only when the lights are broken or OUT OF SERVICE
- on an active traffic lights the following rules apply: traffic going straight has priority over turning traffic, in all other cases the give way to your right rule applies
- the presence of a traffic officer at the center of an intersection overrides the orders of a traffic lights. when he raises his arm: amber light; when his arms are at 90 degrees: green light for traffic coming from his left arm, red for the others; when his arms are 180° green light for traffic coming from his arms, red for the others
Here it is. I don't think you'll need them though. Just ride safely and when in doubt follow what the others are doing
