I'm selling my road bike frame and want to be able to use the wheels from it on my CX bike. It has an 11-30 cassette on it, and my CX bike has an 11-36.
Will I be able to swap the wheels back and forth without needing to fuck with the rear derailleur (mechanical SRAM)?

Are they both the same axle type? It might be a bit of the stretch and you'll likely need to mess with the b tension, but modern derailleurs can accommodate a fair bit of teeth.
If it doesn't fit, get yourself a wolf tooth roadlink and you'll be able even to go up to 42ish teeth.
