Depends what stops are on it and how easy it is to use. If it has a proper park-and-ride and it stops at busy/popular places like business districts, tourist hotspots, malls and airports, I can't see why it wouldn't be viable at least.

Orlando is a shitty, carcentric city. Why should I buy a ticket on the train when I can drive there, especially since you need a car to get to the sunrail station (which in inexplicably in a bar district) anyway.

But in all seriousness probably not. All the car-centric sprawl means that most people can’t get to it without driving there. And considering the state of American trains, it would probably not be much faster then just driving to the other city. Plus even if you went to thestation, found parking, and waited who knows how long. You’d be getting in a train that will just take you to another place where you can’t get anywhere with out a car. Which you don’t have, because you tried to take the train.
