Imagine you live in that particular street or have a business on that particular street. Suddenly there is a business at your door step and he's just allowed to be there. Bonus points if it's a food vendor who parks in front of a restaurant.

Plus the rules and regulations in place for mobile businesses are very strict, so strict in fact that I know that unless you're selling prepacked food a food truck is basically illegal in many states that have them.
Also for some reason these vendors provide elite food as opposed to food anyone can afford, as such they must be present in high dollar locations that are already desirable to begin with and have no issue attracting store front businesses, so a mobile business solves no problem at all.
