>>1795352Solid list but
>>1803797is completely wrong, both kill your gains but if you had to choose between them Prednisone and glucocorticoids in general really kill your gains and Tylenol is a much better choicr. I'd add a few:
Oxy/naloxone combo extended release tablets.
I got a months supply after a minor car accident and exaggerated the pain, these work wonders used sparingly and will make every strong consistent ache feel like a tickle for 6 hours. Take it slow in city traffic as it's about as bad for riding with 3 drinks.
Aspirin+Tylenol
Works for dull pain and Aspirin doesn't fuck with your water balance like ibuprofens effect on the kidneys do. My go to combo when I had to get back on the saddle after a long break.
Any SSRI(preferably Lexapro for least drug interactions)
Kept tablets after my bout of depression years ago, one of the most prescribed medicines so not hard to get some if you ask around. These don't numb the pain but it makes you less bothered by them, for lack of a better term it's as if the treble of the pain is reduced to 0. Only effective taken sparingly.
My pain Armstrong style stack:
5mg/2.5mg oxy/naloxone, Lexapro 20mg, 600mg caffeine, 1000mg Aspirin, 1g Tylenol, swallow with any sugar containing monster.
Turns you into a dissociated Superman. Took everything i had after hitting a raccoon and spraining my back hard enough to not be able to get on the bike. Rode the 150 miles home in one go at a nice pace with minor pulsating pain in comparison to not being able to sit on the saddle before and it only wore off the last 30 mins of my ride.
