Tesla removed mobile connectors with car purchases due to "super low usage"

How the fuck do they even know whether or not I'm using their mobile connector as opposed to a super charger or a 3rd party L2 charger? You mean to tell me that they are logging the kind of charger you are connecting and sending it back to Tesla via telemetry? That's the only method I can think of to how they would do that. Imagine if cell phones manufacturers decided that they weren't going to provide a charge cable with their phones because they allegedly found out that usage of THEIR first party cables were "super low". Tesla truly is the Apple if auto makers

>Tesla changed its long-standing policy to deliver every vehicle with a mobile charging cable and instead, it starts selling them separately for $400 for level 2 charging and $275 for level 1.

>The move is reminiscent of Apple's decision to stop supplying USB charging bricks with new iPhones a few years ago......However, the similarities stopped there. Apple could rely on the fact that most customers already had several USB/Lightning bricks, but that's much less likely to be the case for Tesla buyers, especially those new to EVs, it added.

I think this is just going to give people
