I need a reading list that will transform me from a drooling monkey who only knows wheelbox makes me move to someone who actually knows how a car works. I'm sick of taking my car to mechanics and paying them hundreds of dollars for stuff that might not even be wrong and just believing whatever they tell me because I don't know shit. I want a knowledge base that will allow me to identify car problems in an informed way, make basic repairs myself, and call mechanics on their shit if they try to fuck me. Where do I start? There is no one in my life who can teach me this firsthand so I need some quality literature.
