I live on a really flat coastal plane and everyone i see rides a bike like this?? why do people go for these stupid bikes that are just designed to go slowly uphill? even relatively fit kids ride them?

36 is painful on tarmac, i dont know about you but i dont live in the forest and i want something with a little more hmmpf when in not on rough terrain, given that 36 is my sweet spot for off road i am all in
