I was bored and thinking of weird shit I could do to a bicycle, because why not?

I saw that Shimano offered an 11-speed internally gear hub with di2... could this pair with the di2 STI shifters? could you have a 1x11 di2 internally geared hub on a road/gravel bike?

I'm sure the hub would weigh more than a derailleur and cassette, but seemed like a pretty cool way to reduce maintenance (albeit at a cost premium).

What do you guys think?
