my dick brakes had to have one pad change in the last 3 years and solely because i was an idiot and accidentally oiled them
setting dick brakes up is much faster, easier and utterly foolproof compared to v-brakes, just plop-pump-turn-check-tighten

dual piston, same as hydraulic except you adjust the gap manually
