Yes. No, but that's incredibly contrived ('what if someone leans through your car window (or BREAKS IT??) and turns the key and then robs you' etc)

But it's much easier to do it with a bike like this one where the key slot is on the side; the thief can ride past you and snatch it in an instance. I really like this bike but the key slot placement is liability

is that right? because, 'rob motorcyclist' seems to be pretty load-bearing (rob them of what, how would you coerce them into giving you stuff, what's happening around you etc).

Every bike I've ridden - not many, but... - has had an engine killswitch on the handlebars, that's there to instantly kill the engine if you've dropped the bike.

The scenario you propose is correct. I'm planning to get that bike and travel around SEA and bike theft is a problem. If they have a knife and did that while I'm traveling through rural area, I don't know what I would do. If they press the kill switch, I can always turn it on again and go; but I'd they take the key, I'm fucked

fair enough. i don't know enough about SEA to speak with authority, but, i think if someone's close enough to steal the bike key and you think you're being set up to be robbed, the first best defence would be to avoid that scenario happening to begin with. the second best defence would be to flee.
