Being a pilot is a shit job. The baboons can have it if they want. You’re away from home, have to live an unconventional lifestyle, and have to pay a shit load of money to get in line to get scammed. What are you going to do? FO for Spirit for 20 years making less than a Taco Bell employee? The glory days of America are over. The system will coerce minorities into these slave jobs under the guise of diversity but really they are just the necessary cog to keep the system going

I would much MUCH prefer being a freight pilot in that case. I can only imagine that FedEx, UPS, and maybe even USPS have deeper pockets than most budget airlines.
Plus there's zero customer service if you're flying goods.
