The size of parachute needed for an entire fuselage would be incredibly heavy, making it prohibitively expensive.
And then most crashes happen during low altitude phases of flight where parachutes are useless.

Anon I improved your design by adding a retractable tail and a slot for the wing to exit through. Now you don't need the parachutes.

A separate inner cabin that'd be stable enough to do that would probably be too heavy. It'd probably also need way larger parachutes.
