we are human beings, the most amazing ingenious and adventurous of all animals. We have tamed the oceans, the deserts, the forests, the mountains, the frozen wastes and the mother fucking sky.
Human beings come in all shapes and forms, it must be that way, we need childbearing women, we need worker bees, we need warriors types, wise men and we even need cowards and doom mongers, but the rarest and most important of all are the adventurers, the fearless pushers of boundaries, the people who live life out on the edge pushing the envelope in their mysterious desire to find out how fast is too fast, how high is too high and how hard is too hard, these are the humans who drag the rest of the species kicking and screaming into the unknown, into the future and out of the cave towards the stars.
This thread is for them, those who are not worried about every possible disaster that may befall them, who fall not for the marketing mans scare stories and care not to live a life wrapped in cotton wool and bubble wrap, for the health and safety hold-outs, for those who just want to live life to the fullest in the moment surrounded by possibilities good and bad as we carve our way through the hostile deathscape that is life on Earth and face down our fears, to conquer our anxieties, those of us who refuse to allow fear to make a home in our hearts and who will not succumb to the way of the coward.
This is for the helmet rejectors.
Post videos, articles and accounts of men being men, women trying their damnedest to be men and kids showing us all how to really embrace existence and live in the moment free of fear, taking the simplest of wheeled transport and turning into a dance with death, I shall start...
