The surface for the bottom of the bolt to grab onto the outside of the dropouts seems pretty narrow.
Also make sure that when you install your rear wheel, that these washers with notches are oriented so, that they go into the slits of the dropouts.
I highlighted the alignment of the important components in yellow.
Sorry, I drew a horizontal dropout (actually called track-end) instead of the forward facing dropout you have, but the principle remains the same.
I hope I could help, good luck anon and make sure you tighten down your axle bolts well.
I also have a question: what do you guys think of 1x drivetrains?
It has the simplicity benefit and I have 1x too, but especially for mtb I found that it kinda sucks unless you have some 11-50t setup or even wider range in the cassette.
And even then, the range is still limited and doesn't it wear quicker?
I mean, when's the last time you had the 8/9-speed cassette worn too much? The old 90s mtbs still work and the drivetrain usually only needs a new chain.
This probably can't be said for the newest scam/shitmano stuff coming out in 15-25 years down the line...
Do you prefer running multiple chainrings?
