Toronto here:
>Eglinton Crosstown Line nearing completion with the line being finished by the fall and opening to the public early 2023.
>Finch West Line expected to open in 2023 (likely fall 2023)
>Construction has begun on the Scarborough Extension of Line 2
>Construction has begun on the Eglinton West Extionsion of the Eglinton Crosstown
>Pre-Construction work on the Ontario Line has begun. With Doug Ford being reelected that pretty much ensures it's getting built.
>Preliminary work still ongoing with the Richmond Hill Extension of Line 1.
>Preliminary work soon to begin on the Eglinton East Line which will now be its own line and not part of the Eglinton Crosstown.
>Electrification of the GO Train network is still moving at a glacial pace but things like grade-separations and double tracking of lines is happening.
>Work on expanding the Union Station streetcar loop to start eventually
>Work to begin on adding a second platform to Yonge Station on Line 2 to begin eventually
>TTC planning on purchasing new trains for Line 2 within the next couple of years. They have to be ready before the Scarborough Extension opens in the 2030's. This will include construction of a new subway yard west of Kipling Station (Obico Yard).
I also wouldn't be surprised if the Sheppard Subway extension comes up again at some point over the next 4 years with the Doug Ford now having another majority government.
