>>1818533Might be wrong but this, but:
I'm pretty sure that's not an Italian Bianchi, which means that it's not a high-end or collectible vintage road bike (something out of your price range in your tight market).
There are high-end and venerated Japanese and Taiwan built road bikes, like a team miyata, but not those Bianchis, those are like the American domestic lower spec ones. Still very decent bikes but at more like a club/sport level, not really race pedigree.
I know canadian market is high but pushing 1000 for that is unreasonable, it's value is less mystique and more as a good looking rider.
It's kinda the same deal with most older local Miele and Marinoni roadies. Or anything else made of lower-spec nice tubing like Columbus cromor. Or any tange frames with numbers that aren't 1 or champion. Most 531 frames.
A 'real' italian race bike you'd expect like columbus SL atleast, and in great condition, $1000 canadian+ would be fair.
I think getting a nice road bike which isn't 'special' should really be possible for ~$500 in your market if you're patient. Do you want me to have a look ?
Worth mentioning, 'great condition' is two things. You've got 'original' meaning it hasn't been ridden much or fucked with, AND serviced meaning it has been overhauled, it has fresh grease, cables, and new tires and bar tape. Because bikes degrade just from sitting. A 'practically unridden' bike is still a project. If you're uninterested in a project often a bike which is in worse re- 'original' condition will run better as it's been kept in service.
>>1818581He's talking in canadian money and that bike does look very clean. If it is in original and serviced condition with nice tires $200 is a delusional price. It's a nicer bike than an entry level hybrid for fucking sure.
