In all seriousness, I worked from home for 7 months during the pandemic and it was fun at first, but after a while it sucked not seeing my coworkers and not having a reason to ride my bike everyday to go back and forth to work.
Also, you can live at work if you're a paramedic/fireman or some other job with multi-day shifts. I've done that sort of thing too, and not being able to go home to get away from your job and coworkers is not very nice after a while, even if you like your work and workmates.
We need space and distance for mental wellbeing, and hence transportation. (See, on topic after all).
