>>1812207I've had to do something like that for a week to make ends meet before, Tour de Labor fml, I've had a month before I'd give myself only a day off a week. It's at the point right now that if I give myself any significant time off (2 days or more) the fatigue catches up to me and I feel like garbage but if I keep going, I don't feel it lol
>>1812692>it's not a job you take for the moneythis, do it for mental or spiritual reasons and only for the money if you're truly desperate for a job and even then, there's better gigs out there
>>1811994>Do any of you work as a bike courier?7 years, first 2 years was a side gig thing I was testing out and from 3 years onward, it's been my main thing. 4-6hrs a day, 4-6 days a week.
>Is it worth?Fuck no, you have to be crazy to do what I do
>How much do you make?depends, there's good days and bad days. You won't make much more than the other wageslave jobs but on the bright side, being an appslave means your boss is a computer and you could live your life however you want
Why do I do it? Riding was the only thing I was good at since I've been on 2 wheels since I was 4 and spent nearly every day of my life on 2 wheels since. I can probably move better on 2 wheels than 2 feet lol. I always dreamt of riding for a living, delivery wasn't what I had in mind but I'll take it for now
>>1811997>>1811998A looong time ago I worked kitchen, then front, restaurant work is miserable, you hate everyone and need to put a fake smile on but now on the delivery guy side of things, I understand why when I see it's busy and other couriers come in demanding their customer's orders be ready NOW while standing in a way that blocks pathways when there's millions of other higher priority shit going on and people running around everywhere and customers dining in demanding stupid shit. Restaurants are hectic, the very definition of controlled chaos
