Granted, I don't ride this bike particularly hard, I never did, I had other bikes for downhill racing and continue to use a different bike for serious off road riding.
But I have ridden this bike a lot on all kinds of surfaces and in all kinds of conditions, in the dry, the wet and snow etc, thousands of miles in total over 3 decades and that is all the proof I need that they don't make things like they used to.
