In your opinion, should regular dogs (except guide dogs) be allowed on public transport, given that they smell foul and make more noise than the joggers.

When you frame it like that of course not, but humans that smell like shit and make tons of noise also shouldn't be allowed. In that regard the same rules should apply to dogs, if they're well groomed and well behaved then they are welcome.

there is a rule regarding luggage. If crate can fit in those dimensions - maybe.
Same goes for moms with their baby trolleys. Idk why do people think it is OK to ride a bus or other cattle transport with this shit. It is not a wheelchair for disabled so fuck off.

The trend of people treating their dogs like kids is fucking disgusting.

1. Keep your dog on a fucking leash when in public especially if you are too lazy to train it properly and calling their name does not make them stop and come back to you instantly
2. If you cannot physically restrain your dog you shouldn't be allowed to own it
3. Clean up your dog's shit, don't let it lay huge turds on sidewalks or private driveways/walkways
4. NO, you cannot bring your fucking dog to a restaurant (I have seen people order food for dogs and put it on the table, so the dog is eating off the plate next to mommy)
5. NO, you cannot bring your fucking dog to work (one of our office's managers brings this enormous 200lb+ husky to work occasionally and I'm pretty sure has caused piss/shit stains on some of the carpet)
6. NO, you cannot bring your fucking dog on public transit

I think it's fine if you are legitimately blind and you have an extremely well trained dog but other than that you need to fuck right off.

If the owner can pay an extra fare and clean up any messes/take responsibility for any bites, sure. Maybe have some kind of pet transit license which can be revoked for bad behavior or something.

In my suburb 90% of dog owners put their dogs in a car and drive them to the other side of the neighbourhood so they can walk them in the designated "off-leash area"
Walking from one end of the neighbourhood to the other takes less than 40 minutes btw. And it's filled with "parks" which are just large, empty fields.
I'm not trying to make a point, just saying how it is where I live. And how it is fucking sucks, let me tell you.

Yes.
But.
If dog has no muzzle or barks at passengers it should be treated as brandishing of the weapon. 5 years mandatory minimum for dog owner and revoking of the dog owning rights.
