Dude next door gave me for free his roadbike. I don't ride bikes so I am clueless but I think it is too big for me cause when I stand on it the top tube touches against my dick.
Any way I can salvage it or should I just try to list it?

If you can't stand over it comfortably the frame is simply too big for you. Give it back or sell the bike to somebody taller than you if your neighbor doesn't want it back.

That's a nice bike, to be given for free.
Lower the saddle just a little bit. Your foot looks too extended. It will absolutely be ridable for you. Try it for a few miles, see how it feels. You could also get a slightly shorter stem to bring the bars in a little if you feel too stretched out now. The frame may be a little on the large side for you, but if so it's marginal.

That's not a good measure. My frame fits me like a glove and yet it is so tall, I can't stand over it.
Since it's a newer bike, the normal way to find out is to measure the tubes on the bike and look at the manufacturer's recommended height for the frame size.

Flip the stem. If it's still too big, try a shorter stem, but don't go shorter than 80mm or the bars will get too twitchy
