they are acceleration monsters, can filter through traffic and sip fuel like an econobox, but everything else sucks
brakes royally suck
handling sucks, especially in confined spaces which car lanes are
grip sucks, what is a puddle for a driver can be certain death for a rider
aero sucks, crosswinds are scary and incoming big rigs are deadly
ability to negotiate bad roads sucks, the more you bounce the worse your handling gets
comfort sucks, riders get fatigued faster than drivers, both physically and mentally
high speed stability sucks
safety sucks (though still better than some 80s tincans made of foil ad rust)
most importantly, skill floor for a bike is low enough that all of the above can be multiplied tenfold for 60-70% of riders as they can't even handle them properly
you can't just move out of the way on a bike most of the time
but you can in a car
be considerate
