If you have spondylolisthesis like I do, the best advice I can offer is to completely relearn how to walk and stand so that you are transferring as little shock and shear forces as possible to your spine while it is in a non-neutral position.
This means goofy looking forefoot walking and running and an autistic focus on posture (especially the issue of your relative position of the sacrum and lumbar vertebrae).
