>>1821778>To make something like this work you have to really try and have something nice otherwise it's just depressing.Ehh not rly man. Some people are built differently and they're content with just having a roof over their head when they sleep, making up for the losses by being out and about in all sorts of cool places.
I never van lifed either but I did strip my hatchback of all the seats and used it to car camp/travel for weeks at a time - and you know? It was fucking fantastic waking up in the morning, looking out the window and seeing the beach and the ocean. I had a million dollar view every day that made me have zerp quarrels of being crammed in a tiny hatchback.
>>1821793It's easy to have a plan for all those things.
Even the most broke individual with 0 planning/electrical skills can pick up a massive power bank from amazon and a plug and play solar panel. There are rechargeable USB fans you can place in your car whose battery last forever, and small diesel heaters that can help you live comfortably even in the Canadian winter.
Gym membership gives you showers (plus gym), and so do truck stops.
Basically, it's easy to find solutions for all the problems you might have. It's a matter of adaptability.

In the city it's a non-issue. Not only with phone data but with plenty of public wifi. It's possible to install a nice antenna and steal wifi from far away.
