>>1824569>What're you thinking re racks?I'm ngl I'm pretty new to aftermarket bike parts, and while I've been getting better about the drivetrain, the sheer variety of racks has been intimidating to try to sort out. I wouldn't mind getting a rear rack and maybe a frame or handlebar bag.
I'm honestly thinking I'll try to get '80s deore/deore XT parts as much as possible, but hubs/wheels I think will be hard to find - I might have to source new wheels but I'd like to find used parts as much as possible, maybe have it rolling for next summer.
Re spraypaint - thanks, there's a bit of rust on the frame, the previous owner also painted up some spots in a slightly lighter shade of grey. There's no spot that really concerns me at the moment but I've thought about doing up a new paint job or getting it powder coated - but then I wouldn't have the slick job this bike has.
