Otherwise, as for Sabena and Alitalia, they were shit in the past, they were shirt when they bankrupt and disappeared, and their replacement airline is worse nowadays.

They're a profit center of Lufthansa delivering budget value at flag carrier prices.
It's an absolute shame that the banks didn't support SA and an even bigger shame that they didn't sell the bankrupt airline to Lufthansa in 2002 before wasting all the tax money.

Swiss International Air Lines owns the "Swissair" brand but they don't use it asides from licensing novelty memorabilia.
I guess they don't want to risk compensation lawsuits filed in some US district courts for what happened in 2001 and there's also the risk of a shitstorm by boomers, ex-employees and aviation autists if they would re-launch the brand.
