>>1842455You realise you can use it in 'neutral' which in theory just uses the drive to counter the extra pedal resistance caused by the drive. I just didn't seem smart to me to push hard and use the electro motor to gain extra speed compared to a normal bike. Its benefits were mainly allowing me to enjoy a nice longer route without being completely exhausted.
As I said, I think theyre a good option to get some exercise in or get used to the exercise if youre a casual. And i've been on a bike pretty much every day since I was 3 years old, the experience isn't a problem.
Like consider a normal ebike, not a mountainbike, the distance you can travel while still biking 'casually' greatly increases, same with wind and elevations conditions. So instead of someone chosing to take public transport/a car/a scooter to some destination, they might now chose to bike on their ebike.
Could be great for fat fucks to get some exercise in while having control over how exhausting by changing the boost instead of the level of exhausting being determined by the distance travelled thus making it an impractical mode of transportation if youre not already somewhat fit.
No idea if this shitty english makes any sense to you but I tried :(
