They need to install aircraft catapults on all runways. Would save so much energy on takeoff and make electric planes more viable!

I'm not a physicist but there's something about accelerating in a circle that makes it harder than a straight lane, like adding additional force, additional speed when it comes off the circle, or other effects.

That's not an argument. You can say that to also justify Theranos and Solar Freakin Roadways. Ramps would be harder to maintain and planes are not designed with that force in mind.
