>>1832547>mini-rackshit, if you want to add the ability to carry cargo why bother if you can only carry a little shitty pouch? get the heftiest racks you can front and back. to be honest i dont know why more frames dont just have integral racks welded in, unless it's a racing bike where weight needs minimizing it seems like a no brainer
>inner bar endsna fuck these just use bullhorn bars, dont get drops cause theyre shit and make your bike difficult to store if you want to fold it flat against a wall
>custom frame bagi guess any cargo is good cargo, but i prefer toptube and stem bags since theyre basically the cockpit space, can just stop and reach in em for a snack or whatever without any contorting myself. not that framebag is particularly out of reach and i'd rather dip into there than get off and fish through panniers. i guess a significant disadvantage to framebags could be if you have several bikes and some are unsuspended road bikes while some are MTB youre gonna need multiple framebags whereas toptube and stem bags will be pretty transferable between any bikes
>outfront mounts, rear lights and front lightsyeah i mean i dont really consider the type of mount much but having a phone mount and lights are pretty useful. have given some thought previously to phone mounts that angle them in a way that allows me to use the phone cam as a dashcam so i only have to buy one camera for the back. atm though i just dont get hit by cars so hopefully will pick up a cam and the right mount for my phone before that happens
my approved accessories:
big fuck off trailer, have a 1 wheel bob ibex and deeply regret purchasing it, it's too small to carry any real cargo but i guess it pretty much doubles my weight capacity (dont have a cargo bike like a tern or anything). would defo like a big heavy 2 wheel trailer like haulin colin, surly bill or the heaviest of them all the Bikes At Work 96AWD which i think can take up to 280kg of shit. defo prefer the idea of 1/2
