I can't tell you how many friends I've had moan about having to replace a busted brifter, $$.
It's pretty nice to not really think about # of speeds, parts compatibility, etc. As long as the chain works, the rest of it will too.
>>1833605I've installed several sets of these on friends' bikes. They're normal people, not enthusiasts, and they love having shifters there. People used to shit oni stem shifters back in the day, but they're quite practical. The only problem has been those black washers cracking occasionally.
