why do cyclists get asshurt when I speed up to pass them? if I'm on a curvy road and I see a cyclist ahead, I'll check that oncoming traffic is clear and move over to the left to give the cyclist plenty of room, but of course I speed up cuz I don't want to sit in the oncoming lane when traffic could pop out at any time. The cyclist often stops and looks at me with discontent. like I'm supposed to give ample room as well as not use my engine. fuck that. get off the road if you're afraid of engine noise.
