The first clip is just B-roll of the cockpit dash, it's not from the same flight. Note the clothes on the other pilot are not the same (some kind of blue jacket vs. a black t-shirt)

Well, if this website didn't suck and I could post the whole clip, you'd see he does nothing but stare at the gauges like a soi autist and probably only at the attitude indicator because the sims gave him good boy points for staying PERFECTLY at a given altitude and heading when in real life gauges shake around to the point you only really know +/- a couple dozen feet and a few degrees of what you're actually doing.

And, I'm sorry, you can take one look at this kid and know he doesn't have a shred of athleticism and that goes hand and hand with poor hand-eye coordination, etc. Go throw this kid a football and watch the football hit him in the face while he slaps himself with his own hands. I guarantee it.

I don't play video games at all, but this poster really made me want to play Microsoft Flight Simulator 5.1 right now.
I want to fly a 787 though. I'm going to look up some late 2000's version that has a 787 and can run on my shitbox computer at the same time.
But then I can't recreate 9/11 since there would be no wtc. Are there mods for that kind of stuff, or do I have to play the old versions?

You don't need the ball screw bouncy house bullshit to stick and rudder an airplane. I've 1:1 replicated many advanced training procedures in MSFS2020 including stall/spins, etc. The only reason MSFS2020 can't count towards hours is because 1) there's no way to really know if you flew if you aren't under constant watch of a certifying representative 2) FAA gatekeeping because they want rich people with trust funds to pay for the damage to houses when they eventually crash from being shitty pilots.
