>>1838325There was a time I was hooked on motorcycles, after pretty much riding a bicycle all my life. It happened right after I started driving and driving made me forget about bicycles for a while. Then after getting bored of the motorcycle, I rediscovered my love of bicycles.
I think motorcycles are the worst of both worlds in some ways. Sure they're fast, I've even experienced riding an R1 that is face rippingly fast at 0-60 in about 2.5s, but I think they're the worst of both worlds because operating one requires following all the rules cars have to follow, especially over here it's illegal to lane split. Even then, a motorcycle is so big and heavy compared to a bicycle, it feels kind of like driving than riding, where on a bicycle I feel more "one" with the vehicle I'm riding. On a bicycle, I'm not bound by laws and roads, I could go anywhere, fueled by my own strength, true freedom.
