So, i confess, i only use the bike in one third of my trips around this filthy planet.
I try to avoid roads as much as possible, also because within the urban woven of the Old Continent, there are faster ways than roads.
Yet, in all my journeys, the most daunting danger I've met are other cyclists.
I try to avoid them like they were the black plague.
They seems to be completely oblivions about the most immediate and subsequent consequence of their action. They take a blind corner at full speed. They never turn their head to see where they are merging into. They keep from me the exact distance that will force a surpassing car to get back inside the lane too close to my bike. They give no attention to anything passt 3 meters from their front wheel.
My GF almost died from a crash with another cyclist. I genuinely fear them.
