Why cant we do this for full size cars? You could get away with just 50vdc with continuous charging thus reducing the chances of serious electric shocks. Would reduce the need for huge onboard batteries. You'd only need enough juice to cover those last few miles off of the electrified main roads. Would even cut down on excessive lane changing as people would tend to remain centered so they could keep charging as they drive.
