They were founded in 1840 and are one of the first bike companies still around today. Are you thinking of something else?

Jaguars are black with a pattern visible underneath. They also can have a leopard esque mottled coat.

To make it even funnier, 11% of Jaguars are black. They are the same genus different species than Panthers.
