Do you use a smart watch to record tracks when you're out on your bike?

I wanna record tracks. Looking for something basic as possible. I use android without Google services so anything reliant on that is out. I want something as basic as possible but the maps feature on the Garmin watches looks pretty cool if I ever need it, better than having a phone on the handle bars

I got the G-Shock GBD 200 cos it has a GPS feature. Turns out it just records distance/time with no option to export a GPX file or view it on a map
