im buying low on SF and CA in general. i dont think it'll bottom out for a while longer, but I do know its undervalued currently and trying to time it exactly will more likely just mean missing out than getting even more of a steal.

If you live in the Bronx, it's actually not too bad. You've got access to Pelham Bay and Van Cortlandt parks, which both have a good amount of nature that can tuck you away from most of the bustle of the city. Plus, for Pelham Bay, you can walk over to City Island which is like visiting a small New England town without having to leave the Bronx.

The most standout memories I have of San Francisco are that the whole city stank with that sour, ascorbic stench that dumpsters get over time, and every fucking building was basically identical minus just enough minor details and exterior color to trick you into thinking it has variety. Tea and meatbuns in China Town were nice, at least.
