I fucking did it! I managed to take the picture with three trains of three different gauges: metre gauge to the left, standard gauge in the middle, and iberian gauge on the right.

Interestingly, although getting them in one pic would be impossible, Barcelona has a station where subway lines 1 and 3, with respectively standard and (old) iberian gauge meet a meter gauge suburban line. However the subway lines are obviously on different levels, and the suburban station is some 100 meters away from subway line 1.

Probably forty or fifty years late. The three-foot tracks disappeared in the late 80s and the cape gauge before that. There was lots of cape gauge in Blekinge to the point it was called "Blekinge Gauge" in Sweden. The last piece of cape gauge in revenue service was a freight line from Karlshamn, closed in '79.
The three-foot lives on as Roslagsbanan, which has dodged many bullets.

A couple of stations in Australia had triple gauge rails. Gladstone was a special one, where two dual gauge tracks of different combinations met making a triple gauge section.
It was about as chaotic as you imagine.

The port of Barcelona has some stretches of triple gauge, iberian, standard and meter gauge. While the first two are pretty much obvious, the meter gauge branches of a commuter line which also sees potassium freight trains as well as freight trains carrying cars from the Seat factory in Martorell.

Is there any meaningful difference between 1435 mm and 1000 mm tramways if the wagon loading gauge is identical? That's how it works in Poland. Does it make a difference on curves and crossings?
