- TAKE THE FULL LANE. Do NOT ride on the the edge of the road if there is not enough space for cars to safely pass you. You WILL get clipped up by a driver if you're stupid enough to ride on the edge of roads.
- Switching from riding on the street to the sidewalk is valid. Fuck drivers and fuck pedestrians that whine "muh cyclists are pedestrians or vehicles when the feel like it". Your safety is more important than their feelings.
- At the least wear bright (white or light color top) clothing if you're riding late or at night. Reflective clothing is best.
- Use your hand signals.
- If you are going to be an annoyance to car traffic (cycling less than 20 MPH, riding up a hill, etc.) then use the sidewalk.
How to ride bikes on the sidewalk:
- Pedestrians have priority. Say "EXCUSE ME!" or "ON YOUR LEFT!" to alert them. Slow down around children and groups.
- If you see a bunch of retards not moving out your way (usually teenagers) and they obviously see you, don't slow down. #FuckThemKids
- Cars do not see you. Slow the FUCK down at all driveways and intersections. Look back and make sure a driver isn't about to turn right on red and right-hook you. Make sure traffic is clear before going through. Most bike accidents occur at intersections.
