Why are pic related the only places in the United States that like trains? Most foamer Americans I've met online have been from the states in pic related while everyone else is virtually subhuman tier "tear up railroads because they made me 2 minutes late to work"

Commuter Trains only are economically viable when they are in population dense urban areas and thei metro areas or when between to relatively close dense points.

The vast majority of the US is not tightly packed like the north east is as far as density goes. So their simply would not be enough regular riders to make it viable in the vast majority of the country.

I mean I like trains as much as the next autist but it ain't hard to see the numbers and tell it ain't going to work.
