I personally had two/both of them start leaking from the cap at the closed position after two years and one of them even leaked from the lid thread.
The non-symmetrical pattern made fitting it into a bottle cage wonky and inconsistent.
It's nice that the dirt cover comes with some versions.
I've had no issues with the new version so far after a year of daily use on and off bike.
