I actually think they're really cool but probably live in the least suitable area for them imaginable, everywhere around me are rough roads with lots of potholes, steep climbs, very technical descents and narrow bike lanes. Perhaps a 2 wheel recumbent with a rear fairing would be a good compromise?

i dont think pic related is a velomobile but a recumbent ebike with a fairing
based tho as are velomobiles
my dream would be to own a tandem velo trike with a cargo bay mid drive motor and solar panels or wind power to charge the battery

sounds like a bad choice if you need to do technical downhills. You could put a fairing on a normal bike if you want to be protected from rain or an ebike if you want to go fast

They are the most space-efficient design of a bike. I like them a lot. Also, I know this might be random but why aren't there affordable covered motorcycles? They are all like 100 grand. I just wanna ride a motorcycle that is sort of safe.

because they are huge and heavy (honda goldwing esc) and not many people make or buy them

I'm just going to learn to make my own body.
Fiberglass the way to go or are there better/cheaper methods?
Either going to buy a used recumbent or build a frame from scrap parts.

Because there's nobody to market them to. Moto guys want to be a part of the moto culture and do things the normal way. Scooter fags are poor and might not like something that's bigger and more expensive. Car fags are not going to drive something that's not a car. The only market potential is semi poor urban zoomers that like EVs but they're scared of 2 wheels os they added 3
