How come in stranger things mike rides this bike when it's not even old enough to have existed in the 80's?

How hard would it have been to get an actual old schwinn stingray instead of a modern retro styled bike?

Like what was the prop team thinking?

Also in the last season there is a modern micargi bicycle that didn't exist until the 2000s.
