Comfort on a bike is a risk factor for accidents as it increases false safety awareness.
8 months ago I broke my left hip because my bike rode comfortable enough to not feel the lack of friction on the pavement when speeding over safer limit.
It only took a left turn to be on the floor hip-first too fast to react.
On a roughter bike I wouldn't have had that level of confidence.
Have this in mind when teaching your kids riding safety.
Thanks.
