Why don't subways, or even commuter rails, have different classes of service or private cars? Paris used to have this but they eliminated it in the 90s. The left can complain about this reinforcing classism, racism, and inequality, but the fact of the matter is that because there is no segregated first class commuter train service there's an entire class of people who choose to use cars instead out of fears of safety or simply mental health.

Hell, if you're worried about the classism element, you could just make a car that has individual 'pods' that you can rent out and unlock with your smartphone. Require a credit card to book them in advance and take automated photos of each cab upon entry and exit and charge a fine if someone takes a dump in it or whatever.
Market it as a 'way to get work done' and take some stock photos with a black woman smiling and working on her laptop in one of them. There, racism solved.
